Join us for a special Afternoon Aviators and stop in to make a paper airplane and see how far it will fly.  Then test your accuracy by trying a round of paper airplane golf (weather permitting). Afternoon Aviators

Enjoy an evening at the movies along with fun hands-on activities inside the museum.  Popcorn and sno-cones will also be served throughout the evening. Doors open at 7pm, movie at 8:30; all ages.  

Rocket Workshop
Saturday, July 6, 1pm, $7/participant

Do you ever wonder why fireworks can soar the way they do? Learn all about rockets by making one of your own.  At the end of the class we will launch ours outside.  The work shop fee covers museum admission and the price of one kit.

2012 Acquisitions to the Collection
The mission of the College Park Aviation Museum is to research, preserve, interpret and promote the history and collections of the College Park Airport, the oldest, continually operating airport in the world.  In 2012, many generous people came forward and donated objects, photos and books to help in the promotion of that history.  A sampling of these items will be on view on the museum's mezzanine.
