School ToursCollege Park Aviation Museum has interactive, hands-on exhibits, and is an excellent way to take learning out of the classroom.
We offer two tours to school groups for different grade levels. Each tour is designed to address Maryland VSC's and is appropriate for each grade level.
CHANGES IN TRANSPORTATION TOUR: GRADES K-3 In this tour, students explore what it was like to fly in 1909 and how aircraft, pilots and airports have changed since then.
NEITHER WIND, NOR RAIN…TOUR: GRADES 3-6 In this tour, students become airmail pilots and learn what skills it took to fly the mail in 1918.
Our tours can be adapted to any special needs that your group has. Museum tours are also availible for older groups.
