Tour of the United Kingdom

The College Park Aviation Museum and the Field of Firsts Foundation are sponsoring a special tour of the United Kingdom, featuring the Battle of Britain Air Show.

HIGHLIGHTS: Round-trip airfare, includes all breakfasts and dinners, guided city sightseeing tour of London, Windsor Castle Excursion, Battle of Britain Air Show, Cotswolds Excursion, two full free days in London, and Cambridge Excursion.

Trip Itinerary

Day 1 Departure Flight
Day 2: London Arrive at London airport, meet your teach By Travel tour manager, and transfer to your hotel. After an orientation briefing, free time to explore this cosmopolitan city on your own before dinner and overnight. 
Day 3: London Windsor Castle Excursion Start your day with a guided city sightseeing tour. See Piccadilly Circus, Trafalgar Square, Tower Bridge, Big Ben, and more. Afternoon excursion to an official residence of the Royal Family, Windsor Castle, the largest inhabited castle in the world. Free time to explore the town of Windsor before returning to London for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: London Battle of Britain Air Show

Transfer to Duxford for an evocative commemoration of the aerial battle that proved the strategic turning point in the Second World War. The Battle of Britain Air Show remembers the pilots and aircraft synonymous with this renowned aerial conflict, including pilots who camre from across the globe to fight for world freedom. Expect to see squadrons of Battle of Britain aircraft at Europe's best preserved Second World War airfield.  
Day 5: London  Battle of Britain Air Show or Free Day Battle of Britain Air Show or Free Day, pending previous day's weather.
Day 6: London Cotswolds Excursion Board your coach, sit back, and get set for breathtaking scenery! View thatched cottages, green rolling hills, and charming villages that take you back in time, on your guided excursion to the Cotswolds with Chipping Norton and Upton-upon-Severn, with time to stroll and explore. Return to London for dinner and overnight.  
Day 7: London Cambridge Excursion Full day guided excursion to Cambridge. Enjoy the beauty of its ancient center, preserved with its walkable medieval streets, college courts, gardens, and bridges. Cambridge features museums and art galleries, as well as many pubs, restaurants, and cafes. Time to explore the shops around the historic market place before continuing to the Cambridge American Cemetery and Memorial. Return to London. 
Day 8: London A free day in London!
