College Park Aviation Museum Art Contest

Entry Deadline
All entries must be delivered or postmarked by April 30, 2010.
All entries can be mailed or dropped off at the College Park Aviation Museum, 1985 Cpl. Frank Scott
Drive, College Park, MD 20740.

Contestants will be notified of the judges’ decision on May 7, 2010. The first place winner from each category will be awarded a $25 gift card. The top entries from each category will be put on display
in the College Park Aviation Museum. There will be an opening reception on Saturday, May 15 at 11 am.

Entry Requirements

Format: There is no size limit on the artwork.
Medium: Entries must be original pieces of artwork. All forms of artwork are accepted, including
collages, sculpture, mobiles, photography, drawing, painting, graphic art, print making, and mixed
media.
Supplies: The museum will provide an art day on April 24, 11 am-4 pm, where supplies will be available to students to create original artwork. Artwork must be ready for display.
Certification: A parent, guardian, or art teacher must certify the authenticity of the artwork and the
age of each artist. This only applies to contestants under 18.

The art contest is open to grades K-12 and college students. Contestants must fill out the entry form below and submit it with their artwork.
