Fees and Charges

A security deposit and 50% of the Rental fee are required to secure the date. The balance of the rental fee is due 10 days prior to the event. Both deposit and rental fees must be in the form of a certified check, cashier check or money order made payment to the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission (or M-NCPPC) cash or credit card.

Rental fees for the College Park Aviation Museum include the full range of time that a renter utilizes the facility. The time used for set up and clean up is included in the renters’ billable time. The rental fee covers a rental for 6 hours. Any time used over that is charged on a per hour basis and reflected below.

The deposit holds your date. A rental is not secured until the renter signs a contract and that contract is signed and approved by the Museum.

Rental Fees

Museum: rental of entire museum, including main gallery, mezzanine & theater with all exhibits open. Food is not allowed in Main Gallery	Fee: $1,200 Deposit: $600 Security Deposit: $300
2nd Floor: Mezzanine Level & Outside Deck (only), no access to main Gallery & exhibits, but overlook gallery & aircraft	Fee: $600 Deposit: $300 Security Deposit: $150
Auditorium: No access to Gallery (may be rented during the day, depending on scheduling)	Fee: $300 Deposit: $150 Security Deposit: $75

Additional Rental Time Per Hour:

All rental fees are not to exceed six hours. For rentals requiring additional time, there is an additional fee per hour that can be added to the standard rental rate.

Main Gallery	$300/per hour
2nd floor landing & Deck	$100/per hour
Auditorium	$100/per hour

There are no catering facilities at the Museum. Gift shop is only open & staffed upon request. All events must be adult-oriented.
