Scout Wings Program at College Park Aviation Museum
A Place Where Scouts Soar!
The College Park Aviation Museum now has "Scout Wings Programs" for Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts of all levels. The cost is $4 per participant (scouts, parents, leaders, and accompanying siblings). Leaders who bring 10 or more Scouts are admitted free.
College Park Aviation Museum patches are available in the Prop Shop Gift Shop for only $5.50 each.
The Scout Wings Program includes:
- Tour the museum with a professional guide
- Go on a tour of the Restoration Facility where vintage aircraft are
restored
- Go on an aviation themed scavenger hunt
- Visit the College Park Airport, the worlds oldest continuously operated
airport, founded by the Wright Brothers
- Learn about the Science of Flight
- Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts and Webelos may fulfill badge requirements for
their Aviation Merit Badge, Spare-Time-Fun badge, Elective 17 & 41 for Tiger
Cubs.
- Girl Scouts, Juniors, and Brownies by fulfill badge requirements for their
Aerospace badge or their Movers badge.
The Scout Wings Program is offered three times during the year. Please call the Museum for dates.
