At the College Park Aviation Museum, we believe learning should be fun and accessible to everyone! We host various ongoing and special programs to foster innovation, creative learning, and connectivity throughout the year.
Join us the first Saturday of every month as we explore a different aviation-themed topic through STEAM-based, hands-on activities. This is a drop-in program, fun for children ages 6 and older. $5 per participant includes museum admission and supplies.
Come to the Cub Corner story time at 10:30 a.m. on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month for preschool fun! Ideal for little learners up to five years old to enjoy a flight-themed story and hands-on craft activity. FREE with museum admission!
Coming up on December 13, join us as we celebrate the start of the snowy season, and read about a penguin that learns about all things that fly! We will read How High is the Sky by Anna Milbourne & Serena Riglietti and make our own mini penguin puppets.
On select school holidays and closings, we offer FREE educational Discovery Cart programs from 11-2 p.m. Explore a different topic related to aviation, history, and/or science through a hands-on lesson, activity, and/or experiment. What is an engineer? Engineers design and build things to solve specific problems. Learn the basics of engineering through an interactive, hands-on challenge. Construct your own design from plans to prototype. $5 per participant includes museum admission and supplies.
