The plans for the replacement wayfinding signage for the Anacostia Tributary Trail System were completed in December 2016. The estimated cost is approximately $860,000 for 380 trail-head signs, guide signs and mile markers. In the coming year, we will seek funding for the fabrication and installation of the signage.
The Anacostia Tributary Trail System (ATTS) comprises 30 plus miles of dedicated shared-use biker/hiker/equestrian trails in the northwestern area of Prince George's County, Maryland. The trail system abuts the major tributaries of the Anacostia River. The new signage will provide directions to more destinations and be attractive and durable.
